Eligibility
- Savings account can be opened in the name of an individual or in the name of two or more individuals. In the case of a Joint account,
it can be operated jointly or severally, with either or survivor or former survivor clause. - The account can also be opened in the name of a minor, to be operated by the natural guardian.
- The account can be opened by a club, a society, or an association.

Savings Bank – Preferred Account
- Customized Savings Bank Account for HNIs. It is primarily meant to inculcate a sense of saving for your future financial requirements. The main purpose of the account is to save in small or large amounts from time to time.
- Open a “Savings Bank – Preferred Account” with GSC Bank (The Gujarat State Co-operative Bank Ltd.), which comes with enhanced service offerings and value-added services at no extra cost.
Eligibility
- Savings account can be opened in the name of an individual or in the name of two or more individuals. In the case of a Joint account, it can be operated jointly or severally, with either or survivor or former survivor clause.
- The account can also be opened in the name of the minor, to be operated by a natural guardian.
- The account can be opened by a club, a society, or an association.
- Average Quarterly Balance (AQB) to be maintained a minimum of Rs.50,000/- to avail a host of benefits under the preferred category.
- Non-maintenance of the minimum balance will attract quarterly charges of Rs.500/- per quarter.
